Description: This is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, ranch style rental home. Is is fully furnished with what you need to spend a week or a month. We rent the home out as a “temporary” home / vacation rental. It is a unique rental in many ways. Although its not a “top of the line” home, it is comfortable. It is located at the end of the road, top of the hill, overlooking Palm Desert, Palm Springs, Cabazon – all city lights views from this home. There are hiking trails right at the end of the street and you can hike to Joshua tree if you like; the home borders the Joshua Tree National monument. There is a two car "car port" and a 40' RV and horse trailer will fit on the property as well as other vehicles.
If you are horse lover, a polo player, and have polo ponies, if you ride your horse in the parade, Date Festival, or are just an equestrian lover and need a place to stay where you can board your horses this might be for you. If you have dogs you wish to bring, and if you are into hiking or a mountain climbing, or rock climbing enthusiast this may be just the place for you as well. There is rock climbing and horse riding out the back door.
This home is fully furnished and has all the comforts one would reasonably expect in an average home.
This is a SERENE and TRANQUIL area. If you are a nature lover, love phenomenal views of Mt. San Jacinto, enjoy total city lights views of Palm Springs, Palm Desert, and Cabazon - you will love this place. If you must have 1,000 thread count sheets, a butler, a Starbucks within walking distance... this won't be paradise for you. You should seek out one of the wonderful hotels we have in the Coachella Valley..
Reminder: We accept people, dogs, cats and horses. Other pets considered. The home sleeps four comfortably.
Location / Distance: The property is just north of Palm Desert over the hills. Actually if Monterey Blvd went over the hills to the north it would run right into us, and looking straight north from Big Horn Country Club you can see this house through the pass. There are four routes to the “valley” from the home; one leads to Indio, one to La Quinta – Pam Desert, one to Cathedral City and one to Palm Springs. The property is at 1550 ft above sea level and is generally a wee bit cooler than the Palm Springs valley.
